God's Work Our Hands Sunday
In September our members joined with ELCA Churches across America with two service projects. God’s Work Our Hands Sunday offered us an opportunity to explore one of our most basic convictions as Lutherans: that all of life in Jesus Christ – every act of service, in every daily calling, in every corner of life – flows freely from a living, daring confidence in God’s grace.

TheSpreading three truckloads of playground-grade mulch in our playground area.Creating a Hygiene Closet for the Spencer- Van Etten Middle School students.All the products were assembled (toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc) into individual grab bags. There were 440 full sized toiletry items and hundreds of hotel-sized items donated.
